The stream has overflowed on to the road. Frozen water coats the surface. Gingerly I cross, digging each step into the iron hard ground. Heavy clouds hover over the valley, silver light reflecting from the estuary. The first flakes of snow spiral down, dancing around me as I walk. Despite hat and gloves, the wind nips at my nose, and toes and fingers start to freeze. I turn for home, hoping to arrive before the storm begins in earnest.
Taking time out to ponder life and everything else. I’m pressing the pause button on my busy life for a year to reconnect with God, to re-energize, and focus on my creativity. Time out to blow bubbles, walk on the beach, write some stuff, do some needlework, and generally enjoy life once again. You can view my main blog at www.iggandfriends.wordpress.com. I also have another blog at www,faithinthehome.wordpress.com, and a arty/crafty one at http://52weeksofcreations.wordpress.com/. I hope you enjoy visiting :)
It’s been stormy here lately as well – took the dogs down where it’s normally quite dry yesterday, and could see the clouds hovering in the distance (over our house!) and the winds were picking up speed – so we headed home just in time for the downpour. But rain is always good (she says as she wades through the virtual lake in her front yard!). Cheers.
