Life, crafty stuff, long walks, thoughts, and little oddities.

Dancing on the edge of the world

Stood in the weak winter sun

At the end of the sand

Where water and land mingle together

Breeze embracing me

I stretch my arms wide

Open to the world

Close my eyes

And soar in my mind

On eagles wings

Inside rises a bubble of laughter

I let it escape

Overflowing joy

I twirl and spin

Raise my heart in song

Dancing on the edge of the world

Taking time out to ponder life and everything else. This is the space where I press the pause button on my busy life to reconnect with God, to re-energize, and focus on my creativity. Time out to blow bubbles, walk on the beach, write some stuff, do some needlework, and generally enjoy life once again. You can view my main blog at www.iggandfriends.wordpress.com. I also have another blog at www,faithinthehome.wordpress.com, and a arty/crafty one at http://52weeksofcreations.wordpress.com/. I hope you enjoy visiting :)

  1. Very nice! I read that you are taking a year to reconnect with God. Great goal! How is that going and what are you doing to accomplish your goal?

    • Thanks for your comments. It’s a good question. I’m taking time to just breathe, to be, to sit and stare. To just enjoy being in his presence without having to do anything. There is a tendency to rush so much doing for God that we forget that he is also there to be enjoyed, loved, adored, and that we don’t need to ‘do’ to be loved by him, but are loved completely for who we are in him. I think it’s about making a conscious decision to enjoy God, and to try to sense him in the ordinary and everyday. But this is a work in progress!

  2. So evocative, I can see you twirling and laughing and wish I could be there too.
