Salt marsh and woolly hats

The track leads out  towards the salt marsh. Sheep dot the landscape, grazing the rich grass. Behind the trees, a ribbon of frosty fog marks the path of the estuary. Above lie the Galloway hills, bright-coloured by an unseen hand. Tops hidden in the mist, a woolly hat perched on the tops.

  1. Nice pic!!! It looks so peaceful 🙂

  2. The sky has looked more breathtaking than usual and you captured it!! Stunning!

  3. An incredibly beautiful collage of words and picture. I am the kind of person who’s firmly rooted in the present and in my present space but that one just plain moves me. Maybe it’s the winter storm we just came through (my poor aching back) — I don’t know — but that makes me long for spring even more than the crocuses you just posted.
