Life, crafty stuff, long walks, thoughts, and little oddities.

Dancing raindrops

The rain started slowly today. A gentle tap on the window-pane. Running down the glass, peering in, as though searching for something. Gradually falling faster and faster, hurling itself at the earth. Descending from the skies with a plop. Falling in yesterday’s puddles, muddied from the passing traffic.  Dancing across the surface. Ripples of joy spread outwards to join others. The drop is reunited with its family.

Taking time out to ponder life and everything else. This is the space where I press the pause button on my busy life to reconnect with God, to re-energize, and focus on my creativity. Time out to blow bubbles, walk on the beach, write some stuff, do some needlework, and generally enjoy life once again. You can view my main blog at www.iggandfriends.wordpress.com. I also have another blog at www,faithinthehome.wordpress.com, and a arty/crafty one at http://52weeksofcreations.wordpress.com/. I hope you enjoy visiting :)

  1. The picture are words brought back memories of a beautiful song by Paul Simon. I’m pasting a link to Eva Cassidy’s version…my favourite one. Eva–sadly missed.
