Frosty hollows

Last years leaves lie hidden in amongst the green. Trampled underfoot, yet still intact. Shadowed by the new growth around it, frost paints its lines. The first hints of sunlight make it sparkle like diamonds in the light.

Taking time out to ponder life and everything else. This is the space where I press the pause button on my busy life to reconnect with God, to re-energize, and focus on my creativity. Time out to blow bubbles, walk on the beach, write some stuff, do some needlework, and generally enjoy life once again. You can view my main blog at www.iggandfriends.wordpress.com. I also have another blog at www,faithinthehome.wordpress.com, and a arty/crafty one at http://52weeksofcreations.wordpress.com/. I hope you enjoy visiting :)

  1. Promise of spring maybe? A first look?

    • I live in hope – it is cold here at the moment. Dogs water was frozen in the bowl this morning!

      • That reminds me of my (irreverent) Uncle Mike, who always said that it wasn’t cold until the chamber pot froze over :>)

      • 🙂 Your uncle Mike has a point! When I was small, the bed sheets used to crackle in the morning with ice from my frozen breath. We used to get dressed under the bed clothes. It was so nice when we moved to a house with central heating – and even better when we moved to one with double glazing as well. Luxury!
